Torbjörn Olsson, has been working with type for many years. Torbjörn refers to himself as a “type freak” and “digital stamp cutter”. He cuts his own, successful type as well as helping other designers digitalizing their letters. Torbjörn lives in the small industrial town of Eskilstuna, beautifully situated on lake Mälaren. He drives a very fast and very small, black Japanese car and works with troubled youth when he is not designing typefaces. Even though type design is a mere hobby, one of his faces is used by the Vatican!
